Southern Indiana FiberArts Festival is held annually the third weekend of October in Corydon, Indiana - 30 minutes from Louisville, KY.  Here we post updates about our ongoing projects and gatherings.

The summer didn't just fly, it was more of a space/time zippy thingy.  I've sadly neglected the blog, but not Project 2010.  New pics to come in a day or two.  Handspun from around the region ... and fantastic projects, too!!

More on the way for you!!

Project 2010 dying and spinning has begun!  There are still batts and roving unassigned - so it is NOT TOO LATE to participate :)  If you want to help spin, drop a note or come to a gathering in February.  If you just want to help a little (hehe) come to a gathering and take a few whirls on the spinning wheel - no matter if you have never tried before or are a seasoned pro :)  All hands welcome!!

Remember every month:

first Saturday @ Hobknobb at 2pm

third Saturday @ Grinny Possum at 1pm

2010 fiber
With December moving us along, the dying of fiber for Project 2010 will begin!  Many of the donated fiber batches are already dyed wonderfully ... but we also have several awaiting inspiration.  A few will be dyed to compliment others and some we are leaving up to fate :)

If you have contacted us about assisting with the dying, look for a personal email soon.

If you would like to be part of the spinning team and haven't emailed us yet, drop a note now and i will add you to the list.  We can get fiber to you in person or by mail, depending on distance, etc.
